This week, Waldo took it upon himself to finally put away our spring wardrobes. He threw shorts and sandals into the closet with impish abandon… but when he got to the umbrellas, something didn’t seem quite right. Take a look for yourself what Waldo pulled out of the mudroom!

The Kasa Obake is an upcoming monster in From Shadows, a Ten Thunders-focused expansion for the Through the Breach roleplaying game. These nightmares take the form of umbrellas to fool passersby. When picked up, they snap closed and devour the unlucky soul underneath!


The stat block above will let you incorporate these nefarious bumbershoots into your games of Through the Breach a little bit early, and have your players asking questions like, “Is it an umbrella? Is it a Neverborn? Is it an oni? Does it keep off the rain?”
